The Shropshire County Agricultural Show is on at the Greenhous West Mids Showground on the 28th May 2022. The Show is a family event. There are farm animals to see, bands playing, agricultural machinery to view and stalls trying to get you to part with your money. Rest your feet and wallet at the Main Arena and watch what the entertainment on offer. You will need to prebook your tickets.
On Saturday 25th June and Sunday 26th June 2022 the Shrewsbury Food Festival will on to tempt your taste buds. There will cookery classes, cookery demonstrations, tastings and masterclass. There will be two live music stages and food, drink and craft stalls ready to inspire you. Plus entertainment to keep the children occupied.
Shrewsbury Flower Show has tons to keep you occupied for the day. It is on Friday 12th August and Saturday 13th August 2022. You don’t need to like flowers. There is showjumping, motorbike displays, bands in the band stand. There are food demonstrations in the food tent plus lots to taste test. There is a craft tent, children’s entertainment and lots more to explore. The main tents have flower displays, vegetable displays. Think Village Fair supersized.
Shropshire Oktoberfest will be in The Quarry on Friday 30th September and Saturday 1st October 2022. There will be over 150 real ale to sample plus lagers, ciders, gins and wine from a local vineyard. There will be live music from local musicians, a Comedy tent and a silent disco. All this a short walk from the train station.
