These are just a selection of the comments that our guests have made…

Despite the changeable weather (what happened to the “Indian Summer” which had been forecast?) we enjoyed visiting places we’ve been previously & discovering some new places – hopefully we’ll be back some time in the future.

A very comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation. Thank you for the little extras!

Hope to see you again in the near future.

P.S. A badger came to visit, in the garden, late one evening!

Our second visit. We have had a fabulous second visit in Folly View. We have been for a walk every day – from Folly view up to Flounders’ Folly; Hopesay; also from Clun; Newcastle-on-Clun and Ragleth Hill near Church Stretton – superb view!

We’ll be back again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Folly View. Our hosts were more than attentive. Thank you very much. During our holiday we visited Ludlow, which is a beautiful town. The castle and market are a must. So is the Cafe on the Green, situated by the river.

Shrewsbury is a shopper’s dream. Take time to visit the parks and the ‘Boathouse’ pub, down by the river.

The National Trust’s ‘Carding Mill Valley’ near Church Stretton is stunning. Enjoy the atmosphere of Ironbridge it’s fantastic.

Happy Holidays.

Folly View 5 stars. Will be repeat visitors.

It was interesting and enjoyable to watch all the bird around Folly View.
Thank you very much.

We came here by train, so it has been great to find such good accommodation a few minutes walk from the station. We’ve enjoyed walking in excellent weather for the time of year. We’ve appreciated the maps and guide books.

A very enjoyable holiday at Folly View – thank you for the treats, information about the local shops and places of interest to visit. We will return to continue exploring.
Rusty soon settled in and did try to make friends with Hettie and Dillie! Woof!
Everything at hand for cooking, all so neat and clean.

First visit, but definitely not the last!
What a fabulous week we’ve had in Folly View. Very clean, comfy and warm flat, everything we wanted for a lovely stay. Thanks for the beer, biccies and milk etc.
Not a bad week weather wise, we’ve been out every day. Have done some lovely walks, plenty more to do! We’ll be back!
Thanks once again.

A lovely warm clean flat. Thank you so much for the wine, biscuits, chocolates & card. It all helped make Mum’s 94th birthday weekend really special. Hope to come back again. Shropshire is just so beautiful. Thank you from us all.

Lovely place to stay, owners (and their dogs) delightful!
Altogether a great holiday in beautiful accommodation 11/10!

We had a lovely fortnight exploring small towns & villages in Shropshire (despite the weather) & even ventured into Wales!
The accommodation is 1st class & is very well equipped (with a decent set of sharp knives) – being self-catering ‘veterans’ we tend to bring things with us which, in the past, we’ve found lacking – we didn’t need them this time.
Thanks also for wine/milk/biscuits welcome pack!

We’ve spent the last 2 weeks rediscovering places we saw in 2013 & discovering new places. Amongst the highlights were the Cliff Railway at Bridgnorth & Daniels Mill just outside the town. We’ve also been to Herefordshire & Wales, plus of course various towns & villages in Shropshire!
For a nice evening meal we can recommend the Stokesay Arms: it’s not much to look at but the food is good & reasonably prices, we also discovered the “Mill on the Green” Cafe in Ludlow – good food, good service & a beautiful location.
P.S. Better than a doctor’s prescription any day!

We had a lovely stay – just too short!
The flat is lovely – very well equipped, clean and tidy and Merinda & Lyndon made us feel very welcome – Thank you 🙂
So much to do & see, we enjoyed walking & cycling even if it was very hilly!
Stokesay Castle is definitely worth a visit, as is The Plough at Wistanstow for good food & beer!

An ideal mid-point for us to meet up and be able to bring Carmel’s dogs. We all had a lovely time in your comfortable, warm flat which had so many extra little touches which added to the experience. Thank you for the beer & cider. We may come back sometime, we enjoyed meeting you.
