The Shrewsbury Folk Festival returns this August Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 22nd To Monday 25th August 2025 at the usual riverside venue of the West Midlands Showground in Shrewsbury.
This much-loved regular fixture on the annual folk music calendar brings together a superb blend of traditional and contemporary folk music from the UK and around the world.
As well as four open air and covered music stages there is a dance tent, and a range of shows and workshops. At smaller venues in the “festival-in-a-festival” there are food and drink stalls and activities ranging from yoga through crafting and singing.
