The Shropshire Way 80k Festival has become a mainstay of the calendar of events at the walk Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms.
The Shropshire Way 80k will be on 2nd April to 3rd April 2022.
There are three events the SW80K a 50mile run to be completed in a time limit of 24hours.
The Mammothon is a full distance trail marathon with a time limit of 12hours.
And the Half Mammothon over 13 miles with a six hour limit.
They all take you through some of the most stunning countryside in South Shropshire on parts of the Shropshire Way long distance walk.
The aim is to complete the 80k walk in 24hours. This long distance walk will take you along the Shropshire Way main route and some of it’s shorter walks.
The check points will provide the opportunity to sample local produce and when you finish back at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre there will be a breakfast provided for participants.
There is an entrance fee which supports Grow Cook Learn who run the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and the Onny Meadows.
