Does the sun always shine in Shropshire?
The accommodation is all that we would require – clean, comfortable, spacious, and secure.

Folly View – in the heart of the Shropshire Hills
We had a lovely stay – just too short!
The flat is lovely – very well equipped, clean and tidy and Merinda & Lyndon made us feel very welcome – Thank you 🙂
So much to do & see, we enjoyed walking & cycling even if it was very hilly!
Stokesay Castle is definitely worth a visit, as is The Plough at Wistanstow for good food & beer!

Arrived home safely, after a most enjoyable week holidaying in your comfy, well appointed apartment.
We really liked the quiet, tucked away setting, yet an easy walk away from the centre of Craven Arms, shops and other handy amenities.
Thank you very much, Merinda, for your friendly welcome and for the tasty local biscuits, tea, coffee and milk on arrival.
Also, we were much impressed by the excellent standard of cleanliness and your Covid precautions.
Would not hesitate to stay at Folly View again, should we return to holiday in the Shropshire area.

We came here by train, so it has been great to find such good accommodation a few minutes walk from the station. We’ve enjoyed walking in excellent weather for the time of year. We’ve appreciated the maps and guide books.

The picturesque rugged landscapes of the Long Mynd, Wenlock Edge and the Stiperstones are all just a short car journey away
Our second visit. We have had a fabulous second visit in Folly View. We have been for a walk every day – from Folly view up to Flounders’ Folly; Hopesay; also from Clun; Newcastle-on-Clun and Ragleth Hill near Church Stretton – superb view!
We’ll be back again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Folly View. Our hosts were more than attentive. Thank you very much. During our holiday we visited Ludlow, which is a beautiful town. The castle and market are a must. So is the Cafe on the Green, situated by the river.
Shrewsbury is a shopper’s dream. Take time to visit the parks and the ‘Boathouse’ pub, down by the river.
The National Trust’s ‘Carding Mill Valley’ near Church Stretton is stunning. Enjoy the atmosphere of Ironbridge it’s fantastic.
