I have always loved markets, l remember as a child going round Cambridge Market getting fruit and vegetables with Mum. I still enjoy exploring them when I go on holiday.
Shrewsbury Market is not outside like Ludlow. It is in a 1960s monster but the market is lovely. So do go inside and explore it.
There are vintage clothes stall, stalls selling different ethnic foods to cook at home or eat as you wander around.
The health food stall is on my calling card for next time I am in Shrewsbury, I have run out of coriander seeds.
The stall selling samosas is a must as is the book stall for me.
There are different crafts, antiques and places to have a coffee.
I have only mentioned a few of the stalls here but there are many more to explore.
It is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and some stall holders open on Thursday
