Ever heard of Solarsphere?
No. If you already like star gazing or want to start star gazing, then this is the event for you. Solarsphere has talks and workshops on all aspects of the Cosmos.
Solarsphere is on the 9th to the 12th August 2019 near Builth Wells, in beautiful Welsh countryside.
Solarsphere will educate the curious and the beginner and tweak the knowledge of the more experienced amateur while relaxing by your tent.
Solarsphere has lots of workshops, Night Sky Observing , Solar Observing, Binocular Workshop and many more.
The speakers at Solarsphere over the weekend include Stuart Atkinson who will be talking about the Mars Rovers and there are more subjects that I don’t understand.
Friday Night is Sci Fi Party Night, fancy dress costumes are optional with small prizes for the best adult and child. Live music from the Fireside Family, Alien Stash Tin, Citizen Zen and many more over the weekend.
There is camping with loos and showers available. There is a bar, with real ales, and food concessions on site.
Solarsphere is £50 for the weekend, wow!
Solarsphere is a small independently run, non profit making Star Camp.
Did you know that there are Dark Sky Discovery Sites at Church Stretton on Long Mynd?
