The Valentines Ale Massacre 2019 at the Ludlow Brewing Company is on the 8th, 9th and 10th February 2019.

It is the 8th annual Beer Festival at Ludlow Brewing Company and there will be over 20 beers and ciders to sample. There will be plenty of Shropshire beers to try from other local brewing companies.

There is free entry during the day to the Valentines Ale Massacre which is open from 10a.m until 6pm on Friday and Saturday. Sunday, beer will be served from 11a.m. until 4pm.

Valentines Ale Massacre Comedy Night

As part of the Valentines Ale Massacre on Friday 8th they are raising funding for the Fringe by having a Comedy Evening starting at 7pm and finishing at 11pm. There is a charge of £10

On Saturday evening there will be live music from Saint Loe and support. There is a charge of £10

Booking for both evening events is advised.

The Valentines Ale Massacre gives a great opportunity for sampling lots of different beers you wouldn’t normally try. Soft drinks and coffee available for drivers.

The Clun Valley Beer Festival 2018 takes place on Friday 5th October and Saturday 6th October 2018 when all the pubs in the Clun Valley join in.

Some pubs lay on food and entertainment for the festival and transport is provided between the pubs.

Ludlow Brewing Company this year has its Beer Festival on the 17th, 18th and 19th February.

It is usually the nearest weekend to to Valentines Day, hence being called the Valentines Ale Massacre.

There are lots of beers to try, all of which will be on tap.

There will be live music on Friday and Saturday with an entrance charge of £7 on Friday night.
Saturday and Sunday there is free entry but you do have to pay for the beer.

People come from far and wide and if you want to drink but not drive the train station is right next door.

The Ale Trail was was held once again at the 2016 Ludlow Food Festival and the winners in the 2 categories were as follows:

Ale Trail Professional’s Choice

1st: Blonde 4%, Ludlow Brewery, served at Ludlow Brewery

2nd: Stairway 5%, Ludlow Brewery served at the Nelson Inn

3rd: Blonde 3.8%, Joules Brewery served at the Rose and Crown

Ale Trail People’s Choice

1st: Butty Bach, Wye Valley Brewery served at Ye Olde Bull Ring Travel

2nd: Blonde, Ludlow Brewery served at Ludlow Brewery

3rd: Boiling Well, Ludlow Brewery served at the Feathers Hotel
