I watched Blue Tits and Great Tits flitting around the fruit trees in our garden. They find something interesting to eat although to me there appears to be little there.
On taking a closer look I could also see there were several blackbirds, male and female flying in and out of the Holly Bush. They were picking off the bright red berries, moving from one cluster to another.
The cotoneaster underneath was receiving the same treatment, gorging while the berries are ripe.
As soon as all the berries were gone they were off, probably to some else’s holly Bush.
